This is an excellent panel discussion that Bernie Sanders did last December with Bill McKibben, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and others this past December. Not a day goes by without there being extreme weather events occurring in our nation and globally. There is an imperative that we inform ourselves about the ecological crisis and climate crisis which is threatening all of life on Earth. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) held a climate change town hall on Capitol Hill. Among the speakers were Representative-Elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), actress Shailene Woodley, political commentator Van Jones, 350.org Co-Founder Bill McKibben along with several climate science experts. They discussed environmental policy, renewable energy sources, green jobs and various solutions to combat climate change.
