Please Consider Supporting This Powerful Documentary Series "River Beneath the River"

I am incredibly excited about this forthcoming documentary series entitled River Beneath the River that is being birthed by my friend Elaine Alpert and other wisdom-keepers who are dedicated to bringing deep healing to our hurting world. The powerful implications of this documentary film for us as individuals and collectively are profound. I hope that you will explore what this seven part series will embody and consider joining me, if you can, in supporting this exciting, illuminating, and deeply important project. Thank you! — Molly

Healing divisions between us,
healing divisions within us.

A message from our Founder, Elaine Alpert

So many synchronicities over the past 17 months of pre-production on this documentary film series… lots of incredible people and situations aligning in uncanny, even mystical ways… living into the very themes we hope to get across through this film.

Recently our crew flew to Chicago and interviewed Dr. Richard (Dick) Schwartz, founder of IFS (Internal Family Systems), and 2 lead IFS trainers, Kay Gardner and Cece Sykes. Two weeks before our trip, my son Rand’s best friend, Isaac, reached out to me on Facebook Messenger – we hadn’t spoken in almost 10 years. He shared a beautiful journal entry about Rand’s laugh, written in his grief shortly after Rand ended his life. He’d found the journal 2 months before but waited for the right moment to get in touch with me.

I asked where he was living now… well, CHICAGO, of course! So we made last minute arrangements to interview Isaac who has become a therapist and clinical director, largely due to the impact of his loss by suicide in 2004. What an amazing, heart-opening homecoming it was!… THIS is how the project is going, one connecting moment after another.

It’s an opportunity to fold in so many learnings and teachings from my sources over the years, as well as the body of work I’ve developed. As a More To Life senior trainer for 25 years and an IFS practitioner (among many other modalities), I love combining it all into an amazing transformational toolbox. We aren’t directly “teaching” in this series, we’re sharing the experience of becoming fully alive, aware, connected.

Over the next 2 years we’ll be creating seven episodes in 6 locations: Montana, New Mexico, Washington DC, British Columbia, Slovakia and South Africa.

Why these locations? They are beautiful, fascinating, I have wonderful connections there… and… they are also facing many of the significant social, psychological and environmental issues of our time.

What are some of the themes in the film series?

River of Consciousness is connecting us all, wherever we are, whatever is going on… I call it the Deeper Stream, and run a program by that name for women seeking a deeper dive.

I’m acutely aware that no matter where we go, people are profoundly impacted by personal, ancestral and collective trauma. From early childhood to later in life – neglect, abuse, loss, addiction, serious accidents and illnesses

There is unresolved pain inside many people in our world… and a mounting dis-ease pounding our energy system from the outside – politics, inflation, inequity, deception, war, climate disaster, chemicals in our food, water…

All the while, trauma from past generations pulls on us, often without noticing or understanding the cost we pay individually, or how it impacts our families, even entire cultures.

This film series intends to bring the inspiration and motivation to look below the surface, to heal the past and make it possible to meet the world as it is – not in isolation, but together.

After decades of witnessing what happens when groups of people move past years of fear and defensiveness, when they take that deeper dive into what’s really going on, the opportunity to make a film series unexpectedly dropped into my life. A chance to create a cinematic experience that could inspire others to get a bit uncomfortable and open up what they fear to be Pandora’s Box.

In reality, the name Pandora means “all-gifted, all-giving.” Originally, Pandora was a hopeful voice, a  mythological feminine healer who championed women’s curiosity and encouraged their seeking of wisdom. It was the Greek poet Hesiod in the 8th century B.C. who favored patriarchy and changed the story to be about an evil woman unleashing tragedy upon the world if anyone dared to get near her.

However, when we set a proper context for it and allow ourselves to get closer to unlocking the sources of our pain, we discover it doesn’t require nearly as much as we feared. The reward is profound. There’s just nothing like truth-telling and vulnerability. It makes us beautifully, sanely, richly, authentically… human. Over and over, I hear people who experience this kind of generative creative energy feeling hopeful, irrepressibly alive… they want other people to have what they’re having!

Just as there is collective trauma in the world, there is also a vast field for collective healing.

What are the personal and social issues addressed in this series?
  • Unresolved trauma - personal, ancestral and collective
  • The "Loneliness Epidemic", identified by the US Surgeon General
  • Polarization, hate speech, blame-shifting
  • Loss of trust in our leaders and institutions
  • Growing disparity between the haves and have-nots
  • Climate trauma - fires, flooding, water scarcity, loss of livelihood
  • Widespread sense of overwhelm and powerlessness in the face of it all!

Will you play a part in bringing
this film to life?

We have an international award-winning director, Melinda Levin, and a crew of high-level professionals crafting this vision. Many thought leaders have said YES to participating (more revealed soon).

Wait til you see our 6-minute "sizzle reel" about the series coming out in January, so beautiful!

This is a $5.5 million project, or about $750K per episode, including the development of a companion learning platform for people to integrate the content and healing methods from the series, available locally and globally. Our core team is small, frugal, and ready to expand. Incredible collaborations with high-visability leaders are showing up that call for significant investment from MindPeace Miracles. Now is the time.

I couldn't be more authentic when I say that YOUR support really matters to us, whether a monthly sponsorship or an annual gift, small or expansive. Of course, donations to MindPeace Miracles are tax-deductible. And you'll see an option to donate by check inside the app.

Many blessings and thank you for your generosity!
