This article and pictures and all the trauma it reflects have tragically only increased since its publication in December 2020. These are vivid and heartbreaking images reminding us of why we all must act individually and collectively in every way humanly possible to protect ourselves and each other from the devastation of Covid-19. May we all move from the "I" of "personal liberty" to the consciousness of "WE" ― as in we are all connected, all family, all in this together, all responsible for caring for our fellow humans and other beings. May we intentionally allow our hearts to be broken open again and again by the suffering all around and within us and, through this courageous process, strengthen our hearts and our resolve and commitment to truth, to love, and to standing in the strongest possible protection of one another. We all matter. And how we are carrying ourselves in these pandemic times matters. Deeply. Our world yearns for and deeply needs us to be fully embodied human beings with our eyes and hearts open. And this is where we need each other. It is too hard to sustain and grow in consciousness without the support of others. We truly and deeply need each other. May we unite in ever growing numbers in truth, courage, caring, compassion, and love. This is my deep prayer. 🙏― Molly
