Chris Jordan: Hurricane Harvey's "Chemical Coast" Could Be the Worst Ecological Disaster in US History

Deep bow of gratitude and respect to Chris Jordan and all who share their strong voices of truth, courage, outrage, and profound caring for life that are so urgently needed in these times. I believe that there is an imperative to illuminate again and again the larger pictures that are absent or rarely found in American corporate media news broadcasts and this is true regardless of if you are listening to or watching FOX, MSNBC, CNN, or NPR and precisely because these resources are funded by those vested interests whose bottom line depends on us being uninformed, misinformed, distracted, or lied to directly or through omission. Yes, some are better than others. That said, we must not allow these partial truths to pull us away from the great need to pursue and know the whole truth. It is far past time that we humans take responsibility individually and collectively for the vital need to stop poisoning ourselves and our Earth Mother. Another world is possible! - Molly

Environmentalist friends are saying that Hurricane Harvey's "chemical coast" could be the worst ecological disaster in US history. Who knows how many millions of gallons of benzene, pesticides, etc., will pour into the Gulf. And it will be mostly covered up-- no media access, minimal government disclosure, just like happened with Deepwater Horizon. Trump will be tweeting about some other irrelevant BS as a diversion. Feel the rage and raise your voices.
