Frances Moore Lappé: What An Extraordinary Time To Be Alive

I have long loved Frances Moore Lap, have seen her speak on several occasions, have several of her books (dating back to Diet For a Small Planet, which I got in the early 1970's!), and she has definitely been among my many treasured teachers over the years. May we all draw into our lives in an ongoing way those human beings through which the Sacred flows strongly. These are the people who nourish our hearts, minds, spirits, and souls with truth, inspiration, courage, alchemy (transforming darkness into vital lessons), and encouragement to be our best, our most whole and loving, wise, courageous, and compassionate selves. — Molly

I love the quote behind Frances Moore Lappé: "It is far too late for pessimism."
What an extraordinary time to be alive. We're the first people on our planet to have real choice: we can continue killing each other, wiping out other species, spoiling our nest. Yet on every continent a revolution in human dignity is emerging. It is re-knitting community and our ties to the earth. So we do have a choice. We can choose death; or we can choose life.
