Even the Darkest Times Have the Potential to Serve Life

As we acknowledge the violence that has been rendered against women and against everything near and natural to us, we will inevitably have to face both what has been lost and what we have given away. We will know what has been violated and we will know the patterns in ourselves that have allowed and contributed to this violation.

Without a way to sanctify this historical and deeply personal violence and destruction, we cannot live our greatest power, which knows that all things are sacred and that even the darkest times have the potential to serve life.
