This is tragically so true. And all the talk about Russia’s plan to go to war with Ukraine triggers the trauma of our nation’s lies that took us into the horrifying war in Iraq and in other nations. So many projections. So much mirroring of deadly propaganda.
I’m also reminded of Noam Chomsky’s spot on words: “Americans are a profoundly propagandized people.” It isn’t just Russia.
We have so much shadow work to do in our own nation. And only the truth holds the potential to transform our country into one which is authentically aligned with its professed values.
