Once we Americans really get this and wake up, we will refuse to tolerate or promote or collude with the toxic late stage neoliberal capitalist system that has long been destroying our nation and the world. And we’ll refuse to keep electing those whose proven track record is allegiance with their corporate donors — in the fossil fuel industry, Wall Street, the military industrial complex, the pharmaceutical and insurance industries, the prison and educational industrial complexes, and other huge financial interests — rather than fighting for the interests of the people and the planet.
