There is great wisdom in this. May we all remember the essence of the most important teachings of the great religions and spiritual traditions — that violence is never the answer. Each time we are victims of or witness to the many forms that violence can take — both within ourselves and others — may we use these experiences as doorways into our greater wholeness and the awareness that these exact experiences are calls to deepen in our spiritual practices. We can all take responsibility for growing in courage, integrity, understanding, curiosity, compassion, humility, wisdom. and love. May we choose to be the peace our world hungers for.
