Ursula K. Le Guin: Resistance and Change Often Begin In Art

October 21st would have been Ursula K. Le Guin's 91st birthday. Deep bow of respect and gratitude for this remarkable woman whose wisdom was and remains a gift to us all. — Molly

We live in capitalism
Its power seems inescapable.
So did the divine right of kings.
Any human power can be resisted and
changed by human beings.
Resistance and change often begin in art,
and very often in our art,
the art of words.

Ursula K. Le Guin
