Damien Owens: I Will Never Understand How This Alone Wasn't the End Of It

My mind understands how it is that we humans can be wounded, asleep, and disconnected from our hearts and therefore disconnected from an empathic and conscious connection with others. I especially understand because I have been there, I have been deeply asleep and disconnected. However, it is also true that my heart cannot get it. My heart does not comprehend such cruel insensitivity and violence. It should have ended here. But it didn't. So now the urgency of each and every one of us committing ourselves to walking paths of lovingkindness needs to be stronger than ever.  Molly
