From Our Home To Yours

Our letter shared with friends and family...
and now here with you.

Warmest Season’s Greetings To Our Family and Friends!

2015 has been an amazing year for our family, complete with the many joys and challenges and changes and gifts that life can bring. On February 27th our first grandchild, Oliver, was born to Brian and Marita, who are such nurturing and wonderful parents. And this new spirit is such an amazing little boy whose sweetness, light, and beauty permeates our hearts and our lives. WOW! Positive life changes are also underway for Kevin and for Matt, and we are so grateful to all live within close proximity to one another. Step-daughter Allison married her sweetheart this past summer on Lopez Island. What a beautiful ceremony for such a beautiful couple! And now Alli and Kane are expecting their first child in April – which will be yet another grandchild! YAY! A sad time for our family was the death in August of our 11 year old lab, Mac, to bone cancer. Mac graced our lives for years and lives on in our hearts. Ron and I finally had our honeymoon in November, just over two after we married, and also celebrated five years together – all on the island of Kauai. Wondrous, wondrous experience! My mother has also now lived continuously near us for two years, and it has been three years since the whole process began which brought Nancy into all of our lives. What a blessing to have my mother near. What a blessing that our family now includes four generations! And what a precious gift for all the ways that our family grows and grows. Gratitude, gratitude, gratitude.

Our hope and prayer, as always, is that this year has gifted you and your loved ones with many blessings and that 2016 will unfold in wondrous ways. These are not always easy times we live in. While acknowledging the deep gifts of our lives, I also bow to all who are suffering. The heart of what is extended here also goes out beyond our familiar circles of caring to include all children, all who are swept up in loss and fear and violence, to all beings everywhere, and to the Sacred Earth Mother we all share. May the love, wisdom, and deep caring and compassion of our hearts ripple out as blessings beyond what we may know, creating and adding to the healing, hope, kindness and positive changes which are so needed and which our world yearns for. Bless you. Bless us all.

With love ~ Molly & Ron

This is the most recent version of our community altar. Ron built the original one three years ago in the wake of the horrific tragedy at Sandy Hook. We are moved to keep this up year round.
