Two Book Recommendations

This image is heartbreaking, chilling, tragic beyond words. And it shines bright light on the pervasive and unaddressed trauma the pain and projections, the fear and anger, the hatred and delusions which is deeply embedded in American culture.

I’ve recently been listening to Jeff Sharlet giving multiple excellent interviews and just purchased his latest book The Undertow, which I know will be excellent and illuminating: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oR5yH6sf31k. First I need to get through the other excellent book that I'm reading now — Caste by Isabel Wilkerson: https://www.nationalbook.org/books/caste-the-origins-of-our-discontents/. I highly recommend both of these books.

All that we’re seeing today didn’t arise out of a vacuum, but rather the long neglected and denied shadow side of our nation. There is an urgent need for our individual and, very important, our collective awakening. Molly
