HOMELESS MAN TEARS UP: "I'M NOT A BUM, I'M A HUMAN BEING"

This just makes me cry. This is why I go out of my way to hand a dollar or more to every person that I can who I see standing on a corner with their Please Help sign — AND why I try to look into their eyes and say Bless You to communicate that YOU MATTER, YOU HAVE WORTH. And this is why I am continuously railing against the domination ideology that fuels the patriarchal, neoliberal, predatory capitalist system that is the root of this extreme suffering and injustice that this human being and millions of others endure. There should not be one homeless person in our country or anywhere! This shines glaring light on the shadow side of our country that we allow people to live without homes, without medical care, without even their most basic needs being met while three people own as much wealth as half of our nation. This immoral vast redistribution of wealth upwards is insane and must be ended! Another world is possible — one which values, cares for, and protects all life rather than condemns, dehumanizes, and destroys it. — Molly

UPDATE: Ron died in November, but because he had no ID, his son didn't find out until December.

The updated video is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Of9l... Important, touching 4-min video illustrating the person behind what we see, randomly, on the street. Ronald Davis, describes his life being homeless, and tears up as he describes the indignities. "I'm not a bum, I'm a human being," he says, choking up with tears. Let's look beyond the surface, to people's hearts. Please support #everyonematters: http://www.everyone-matters.com/donate
