Thanksgiving: A National Day Of Mourning

On Thanksgiving and beyond, may more and more of us come to know and understand The National Day of Mourning and integrate this awareness into our consciousness and actions. It is far, far past due for us all to stand with our Indigenous sisters and brothers. — Molly

This video, created by Native America marketing agency SmokeSygnals, tells the story of the National Day of Mourning. The protest takes place on Thanksgiving every year since 1970, 50 years ago this year, to highlight the suffering of the Native American people.
