My husband and I recently watched this documentary. EXCELLENT! Chilling! Highly recommended! In the midst of epidemics of disinformation, it’s my belief that there is an imperative to inform ourselves, to discern which resources are to be trusted and which aren’t, and to share what we are learning and stand up strongly for truth. After Truth: Disinformation and the Cost of Fake News, investigates the ongoing threat caused by the phenomenon of “fake news” in the U.S., focusing on the real-life consequences that disinformation, conspiracy theories and false news stories have on the average citizen, both in an election cycle and for years to come.
