 Cornel West On Whether The Left Should Stick With Dem Party Or Make A Clean BREAK

Cornel West discussed the goals of the upcoming "People’s Convention" during an interview with The Hill.TV’s “Rising” on Thursday, the fourth day of the Republican National Convention.

“I think we have to provide some kind of alternative to the neo-fascist wing of the ruling class Republican Party and the neo-liberal wing of the ruling class of the Democratic Party,” West said. 

“The People’s Convention,” organized by The People’s Party, will take place on Sunday between 4 and 6 p.m. Eastern.

West is scheduled to headline the convention, which comes after the conclusion of the two major party conventions.

The People's Party said the convention will feature "thousands of Americans from all walks of life" to discuss the nation. The convention will be broadcast live on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
