Sometimes the world seems darker than usual; sometimes the world changes in unexpected and troubling ways. Even if we are stunned by events, the human soul is not overwhelmed by circumstances. History is made and changed in the depths of the individual human soul and when the darkness becomes deep the soul can respond with deeper vision and greater commitment to the meaning and beauty of life.
The modern world keeps losing the deep soul connections, leaving many disconnected and disheartened. Yet, genuine transformation is the secret aim of the tensions and troubles we encounter in life. Even when everything breaks down soul knows where to reconnect. Soul is the hidden unity in any community; it is the secret to genuine culture and our enduring thread to the heart of nature.
Soul is the true source of change; it is the seat of emotions and the ground of our being that connects us to both heaven and earth.
